Day 5: The Zoe Photography Advent Calendar of Wedding Photography in Liverpool

Day 5 on the Zoe Photography Advent Calendar of Wedding Photography in Liverpool goes to the guys. Aron married Emma at The Isla Gladstone, the gorgeous glasshouse in Stanley Park, Liverpool. They were really lucky because it was a lovely day which meant they could get married in the band stand outside. What a treat! And this was one of those wedding where from start to finish there was a lot of laughter and love. Alongside me at this wedding were the fabulous team from Marry Me Films who I love working with.

Emma and Aron's Wedding Album

Ever imagined having the wedding of your dreams without having to spend much? Well, Emma and Aron were able to do just that with a very lucky competition win because Emma won the Liverpool Echo Bride of the Year competition. And the prize was full of lucky prizes.  The day included:
I shared a sneak peak of their wedding day a few weeks back, but thought you'd enjoy a slideshow of their wedding album.  Congratulations, Emma and Aron, and well done on being prize winners too!

Emma and Aron get Married at The Isla Gladstone, Stanley Park, Liverpool

A wedding outdoors in May in Liverpool's newest glass house in Stanley Park - the Isla Gladstone. And it was lovely. I think there are so many lovely photographs we are going to have to have 2 blog posts - this first one is a collage of all parts of the day. It was a lovely team working together with Marry Me Films who I love working with doing the filming - it's like being part of a dance, the way we work together. And So Coco Rouge did the beautiful makeup for Emma and her bridesmaids. The bride was brought to the Isla Gladstone in one of Barrington's lovely cars, this time driven by Neil with his usual smile.

Here is part 1 of the sneak peak ... part 2 tomorrow!

Andrew and Kathryn's Wedding in Croxteth and at the Isla Gladstone

The day started with a torrential downpour, and it looked like that was the weather we were destined to have for Andrew and Kathryn's wedding day - but when we came out of the church there was a little peak of blue, and before you knew it, the sky was the most amazing blue, perfect for such a lovely couple. It was a funny day for me, as Kathryn's aunt, over from New Zealand had a little chat with me and we soon discovered that close friends of hers and her husband Joe are actually my cousin Paul and his wife! Small world!

Both Andrew and Kathryn were very trusting, and when I told them the light was perfect for gorgeous photographs they joined me for an extra shoot in the golden light of sunset - as a result we got images that looked like they were taken in the med!  And one of the lovely touches of the day - an ice cream man! And that ice cream was so yummy.  So here is a little sneak peak of Andrew and Kathryn's perfect day.

Naomi and Ian's Wedding in Waterloo and The Isla Gladstone Conservatory, Stanley Park

This is a really quick sneak peak for Naomi and Ian before they go off on their honeymoon! Some couples you just connect with in a way you feel like you've always known them, and Naomi and Ian are those kind of people (don't worry, you two, I'm not about to start stalking you!). Naomi looked simply stunning in her dress - and I love that when I showed her a photograph on the back of the camera she said "Oh, wow, that lady there in that photograph looks amazing!' She couldn't believe it was her. Ian had a suit made for him and he looked really cool in it.

And as a result of both of them owning their wedding clothes it means that we are able to do a second shoot together - I usually call these 'Gown Again' photo shoots, but it's going to be so much more than that with Ian in his suit. I can't wait for them both to decide where we are going to do this! Anyway, for now, here is a little selection of their beautiful wedding photographs just as a teaser!
