Having photographed Zachary last week, this week I had the pleasure to say hello to Zach - how beautiful is this little man. He wasn't one for being photographed without clothes (who can blame him in such a miserable and cold week?) but that didn't stop us capturing gorgeous pictures of him ... and just look at the cute mouth!

Newborn Baby Photographs: Welcoming Zachary to Liverpool
Many of you who follow my blog know Kathryn who worked with me, so you'll be excited to know that she has had her baby - she has a gorgeous, healthy little boy called Zachary.
I love that Andrew said he doesn't know why they left it so long to become parents as being mum and dad is just so special. Awwww. Here is a little sneak peek, but no more than this as Kathryn and Andrew are excited to see all the photographs of their gorgeous baby boy next week.

Family Portrait Session
Some families have such a lovely spirit - and that's true of the Kumar's. I laughed so much with them, as each of them has their own quirky personality which fits so beautifully together for a lot of humour and joy. I think you can see some of that coming through in this sneak peek of their shoot which we did at one of my favourite places, Hope Street Hotel in Liverpool.

Photographing Children in Liverpool
It's that time of year ... at last! Spring has felt like it was a long time coming this year, hasn't it? But now the sun is shining, get in touch to book your photo shoot for the children out on an adventure. Here are 2 short videos to show you the kind of photographs you can have as a treasured momento of your children - they grow up so fast and in a blink they'll be asking to borrow the car! So capture their beauty and innocence whilst you still can in a location photo shoot with Zoe Photography.

Mother's Day in Liverpool: A Family Portrait
When I was booked a few weeks back for a three generations portrait shoot today it never crossed my mind it was Mother's Day - I just about managed to get the fact that my own daughter was away for that weekend, so wouldn't be annoyed at me working a Sunday! So of course when the date finally arrived I suddenly realised this was a Mother's Day present for Nan! And what a lovely family. We photographed the three generations of women in the family, Margaret, her two daughters, and their daughters. Here is just a little sneak peak.

Weekly Update: Portrait Photography - don't wait too long!
I've been so busy of late I've just had no time whatsoever to do a blog update with the images taken, and even now I'm just going to leave you with one set of photographs, but that's more to do with the story that goes with them.
These photographs are really important to me, and I think they will always be important to Sean too, not just as reminders of his beautiful daughter. I am always talking about making sure we capture special times while we can - it's all too easy for parents to say "oh, don't photograph me", but I was really pleased when Sean agreed to be photographed with Dani. And this became all the more poignant because a matter of days after Dani's makeover shoot Sean's brother Joe sadly died at only 41 years of age - we never know what tomorrow might bring, so next time you catch yourself saying 'oh, don't photograph me', remember the people around you who love you for who you are, and want beautiful photographs of you as the storytellers for the future.

Are you ready to tell your family story through the photographs of your family as it is today? Don't leave it until it's too late!

Weekly Update: Portrait, Wedding and Baby Photographs, Liverpool
It's been a busy week at the Zoe Photography Studio this last week - 2 weddings (one in Liverpool and one in Somerset!), headshot sessions, baby portraits and family portraits! We had new babies and visits from babies growing up just a little bit (it was so lovely to see Poppy again!), newborn babies, and babies well into the second half of their first year. And then there were headshot sessions, family portrait sessions, and the delivery of beautiful photographs to happy customers.

We also did lots of planning for April special offers this last week - we have already announced 2 of the special offers - watch this space for more this coming week! These offers are real steals and are getting snatched up fast - after all, it's not often that you can get such value for money shoots from one of the North West's best photographers with a string of prestigious awards to her name!
Oh, and of course, we can't end this week's update without a mention of the exciting exhibition that will be happening in The Gallery, Clayton Square, Liverpool from 6th May, and this last week has seen us finalising the images to be included!
In fact, it's been so busy it's just not possible to showcase images from every shoot - more will have to follow in the coming days! But here are three shoots from last week - we start with beautiful newborn Elizabeth, whose parents I photographed getting married 2 years ago at Croxteth Hall, Liverpool, and then the gorgeous 8 week old Nathan (I have to stop falling in love with the babies that come to visit me in the studio!), and Abi's fun headshot session.

Becci and her Kids' Portrait Session
I recently got to photograph Becci and her children which was great fun! It was a bit cold but we all messed around and soon warmed up. Becci has the cutest kids, but then looking at how great she looks, it's no surprise! I'm really looking forward to designing the portrait album that Becci wants, featuring lots of photographs from the shoot.

The wind was so bitter at times that Theo couldn't stop a little tear as the wind blew into his eyes.

A family portrait session at Knowsley
I love doing family portraits outdoors - and I have the perfect location for it too! It was great working with Denis and Mary and their two grown up children. And with us having a pretty good spring, we were able to get outside without feeling the cold too much. In fact, I think we've had colder days in the middle of summer!

A year in the life of Baby Alex
For a year now I have been photographing Alex, from a few weeks old, and finally, this week, just before his first birthday - I can't believe how much he has grown, but it was great to be able to photograph him with his big sisters, Molly and Megan. We went to the Squirrel Walk in Freshfield, near Formby, although we didn't see any squirrels because even though this is a sanctuary for red squirrels, the squirrel pox virus, spread by the invasive grey squirrels, has been found amongst the population of reds. I hope this isn't the end of seeing the gorgeous little red squirrel so near to us.
But anyway, it was a great morning, we kept out of the strong winds and played around having fun on the walk, and stopping for photographs every now and again. Here is just a few that show what a lovely family this is!
