It was lovely to meet so many brides and grooms, and grooms and grooms over the weekend (where were all the brides and brides this weekend?) at The Liverpool Wedding Show - what a busy show! I loved hearing so many lovely stories about proposals and wedding plans, and I hope I can serve some of you as your wedding photographer in Liverpool, Southport, Wirral, Ormskirk, Formby, Chester and beyond over the next year or two.

I know it's a bit overwhelming attending wedding shows, and I'm sure by now you'll have forgotten who you saw that you liked so here is a little reminder of my wedding photography - click the link here, and you can even download the slideshow app to your phone or tablet, and share it with your friends too.

And great as always to meet up with old friends like Marry Me Films, Becky Brooks Singer, The Paper Doll, Hope Street Hotel, West Tower, Thornton Manor, Knowsley Hall, and Thistle Hotels. I loved meeting new friends too, like The White Attic, Red Floral Architecture, Natalie Ann Brides, and Mel from Beauty Studio.

The Liverpool Wedding Show, Knowsley, January 2011

This weekend it's the biggest wedding show in the Liverpool, if not the North West, with The Liverpool Wedding Show - plenty of fabulous exhibitors and thousands of brides visiting makes this a very popular wedding show in Liverpool for both the brides and the exhibitors.  We are very excited at Zoe Photography that we will be there exhibiting, and looking forward to meeting brides getting married in 2011 and 2012 ... and I'm sure there will be one or two looking at getting married in 2013 too!

And don't forget to visit our sister stand, City Girl Makeover Photoshoots, next door but one, where Sian Louise Auld Makeup will be showcasing our boudoir photography in Liverpool, makeovers, wedding makeup, and gifts for mums and bridesmaids.

As if that's not enough, we also have a shared stand between City Girl and Zoe Photography - Posy and Lace is vintage, vintage style and vintage inspired gifts with wedding umbrellas and parasols, plus beautiful brooch bouquets, vintage tea sets, jewellery and beautiful pressed glass.

Chester Confetti Wedding Show and Zoe Photography on Wedding Photography

This weekend was the 2010 Chester Confetti Wedding Show, and I gave a presentation about how to look your best in photographs.  I talked about such things as posing, looking gorgeous in your photographs, and trusting your photographer when it comes to your wedding photography.  Dianne caught a quick picture on the iPhone (I know, two photographers and we didn't have a camera amongst us!) when I was in the middle of one of the talks at the Confetti Wedding Show.

Confetti Wedding Show, Chester Racecourse

This weekend is the Confetti Wedding Show at the Chester Racecourse and we are offering an incredible prize as part of the Win Your Wedding Competition - the winner will get their wedding photographed for free, that's right, for free!  Any albums can be purchased after the wedding, but all photographs will be presented on a preview disk and on a disk of hi-resolution images.  This is usually valued at £1,300, but the winner of the competition will get this for free (subject to date availability).

So if you would love to have your wedding photographed by Zoe or Dianne from Zoe Photography then be sure to get yourself along to Confetti on 16th or 17th October at the Chester Racecourse and enter the Win Your Wedding competition!  This is an incredible prize, so make sure you enter.

Knowsley Hall Wedding Showcase

Yesterday was the wedding showcase at Knowsley Hall.  There was an amazing range of suppliers for the perfect wedding, from Myriad Travel for the honeymoon, to Chill Out Spa for the best in relaxation and treatments for beautiful skin leading up to the wedding, and Impressions Video of Formby for a video of your wedding day.  More photographs are to be uploaded in the next day, but for now, here are some iPhone pictures from the showcase, with Dragonfly Couture Stationery in the Oak Room, The Bridal Gallery Group in the Walnut Drawing Room and ourselves in the State Dining Room.

Liverpool Confetti Wedding Show January 2010: Zoe Photography Prize

We are excited to announce that the Confetti Wedding Show in Liverpool on 23rd and 24th January 2010 have asked Zoe Photography to provide a prize as part of their 'Win Your Wedding' competition for visitors. We will be gifting the winner a Pamper and Pout Girls Day Out for the bride and bridesmaids before the wedding so that you can enjoy a bit of pampering and a photo shoot as part of an exciting day in the lead up to your wedding!

Be sure to come along to come along to the Liverpool Capital Building, Old Hall Street for the show to be able to enter their fabulous competition!

Confetti Wedding Show, BT Convention Centre, Liverpool

Wow, what a wonderful weekend! I admit though that I am really tired now! Rob and I spent the weekend staffing our stand at the Confetti Wedding Show in the BT Convention Centre in Liverpool (and what a fantastic location it is - all the staff are so friendly and helpful too). It was a fairly busy 2 days, and we met lots of really lovely people, some of whom were kind enough to tell us that my photography was amongst the best there - that is such a humbling experience to hear that when I admire so many of the other photographers who were also exhibiting.

We are now looking forward to the meetings that we have set up with couples, and hope we will be able to do the wedding photography for some of the really lovely people we met. And if you were there and haven't yet booked a more relaxed meeting with us at our base on the Knowsley Hall Park, please phone Pauline who will be happy to book you in - we have a handful of appointment times left for this week and next week.

Remember, if you book a Signature package by the end of the month you can enjoy a saving of 20% - but the wedding must be in 2009 and the photography must be paid for in full. This might particularly suit you if you are getting married February through to June this year.

The next wedding show we will be exhibiting at is the Formby Hall show on Sunday 8th February this year, followed by the National Wedding Show at the NEC in early March.
