Race for Life in Liverpool

I feel very proud of myself that I completed the Race for Life at Knowsley Hall Park on Tuesday evening - and I ran virtually the whole way round! I admit to giving up on the running at two steep parts ... but then I trained in Southport and we don't have any hills there! I am pleased that I completed the run in 45 minutes ... even though 20 years ago I would have run a 10k race in not much more time than that! Ah well, I guess things slow down when you get close to 50!

Did you do the Race for Life in or near to Liverpool? If so, I'd love to give you a little momento to celebrate your achievement. Bring your race medal along to our studio on Knowsley Hall Park and you can enjoy a complimentary portrait shoot during August and as a thank you for your achievement and hard work for Cancer Research UK I will give you a 7x5 print from your shoot.

And for anyone who decides to book a full portrait session for yourself or with your family I will contribute 10% of the sale to Cancer Research UK - so come on, help me add more into the fundraising pot and book your portrait art session today.

Just one thing - I can't cope with everyone descending on me all on one day, so please get in touch to book your portrait session. Call on 0151 546 4411 or email info@zoephotography.co.uk.

The Walker Art Gallery Portrait Sessions

Sunday saw the first of 6 portrait sessions at The Walker Art Gallery linked to the Cecil Beaton exhibition. Future dates are:
25th July
2nd August
4th August
15th August
25th August

In the meantime, here is a selection of the images from Sunday's sessions - each sitter had about 15 minutes to relax and show me something of their character so that I could capture a Beaton-style photograph of them. I'm pretty pleased with the results that we were able to achieve using natural light in the Sculpture Gallery. More images on the Beaton Portraits Blog
