The Walker Art Gallery Portrait Sessions

Sunday saw the first of 6 portrait sessions at The Walker Art Gallery linked to the Cecil Beaton exhibition. Future dates are:
25th July
2nd August
4th August
15th August
25th August

In the meantime, here is a selection of the images from Sunday's sessions - each sitter had about 15 minutes to relax and show me something of their character so that I could capture a Beaton-style photograph of them. I'm pretty pleased with the results that we were able to achieve using natural light in the Sculpture Gallery. More images on the Beaton Portraits Blog

    Well done Zoe, but it couldn't be otherwise with your talent!
    I particularly like the girl with her hands in front of her face, the pensive lady with her hand on her necklace and the last one on the page.
    Excellent - and quite different from anything else you've done.
