Newborn Photographs: Welcoming Zach to Orrell in Lancashire

Having photographed Zachary last week, this week I had the pleasure to say hello to Zach - how beautiful is this little man. He wasn't one for being photographed without clothes (who can blame him in such a miserable and cold week?) but that didn't stop us capturing gorgeous pictures of him ... and just look at the cute mouth!

Many of you who follow my blog know Kathryn who worked with me, so you'll be excited to know that she has had her baby - she has a gorgeous, healthy little boy called Zachary. 

I love that Andrew said he doesn't know why they left it so long to become parents as being mum and dad is just so special. Awwww. Here is a little sneak peek, but no more than this as Kathryn and Andrew are excited to see all the photographs of their gorgeous baby boy next week.

Baby Portrait for Iris

I love it when a plan comes together - a few weeks ago someone told me that she was so disappointed that I wouldn't be able to photograph her friend's beautiful baby as she was just adorable! I asked where the baby was, and when I found out she was not too far from Bristol I started to hatch a plan - you see, last week I was photographing a wedding in Somerset, and I knew even though I'd have to do a little detour, I'd be able to get to photograph the beautiful Iris!

She was just 5 weeks old in her photo shoot - and look, she was exhausted by it right from the start! Here is just a teeny selection of what Iris gave us - she was a perfect model, keeping a beady eye on me for most of the shoot, checking out that everything was ok!

Sylvie's Newborn Baby Portraits

Baby Sylvie and her gorgeous big sister Evie came to visit me at the studio on Wednesday as part of a training session for budding photographer, Nicola who is learning about getting more in control of using her camera on the manual settings. Sylvie got the idea that she'd just eat! But even so we managed to create some beautiful images of her, and we also captured her with Evie showing her love too.

Newborn Babies Needed!

I have just taken delivery of some new props for my newborn baby portrait photographs, so I need some babies to test them out on from 18th January onwards! Are you expecting a baby this month or next? Or do you know someone who is expecting? I am looking for babies at about 6 days old, but I'm happy to go up to 14 days old, and then I'd also like more babies at about 6 weeks old who are sleeping well during the day.

Newborn Baby Photographs of Charlotte

At 10 days old baby Charlotte was incredibly alert, and just didn't seem to know that she's not yet supposed to be able to lift her head, roll over and move herself about! It was still a fun shoot though and we got some gorgeous photographs for her Mummy and Daddy. I really love creating beautiful baby photographs - I just wish I'd taken more pictures of my own baby, but there's no chance now with her being in her last year of school! The time passes far to quickly.

Poppy's Newborn Baby Portrait Session at Knowsley

Meet Poppy - a beautiful 7 day old angel. Poppy's parents were happy to give me permission to photograph their gorgeous baby so young and to let me photograph her without clothes or a nappy. We had to have a little break - more than once because this is one hungry little girl! But it was worth the patience and Poppy turned into a little star!

I'm looking for a newborn baby to photograph - somewhere around 6 days old would be fabulous! So if you are expecting and your baby is due in the next few weeks, or if you have just had a baby and it's under 2 weeks old, please get in touch straight away!

What do you get? Well, to start with, the shoot at our studio on the Knowsley Hall Park will be complimentary, you won't have to part with a penny. And secondly you will receive a complimentary framed picture from the shoot - your choice of image. You are welcome to purchase additional images from the shoot, but this won't be forced on you.
